Arsenal’s hopes of signing AC Milan’s left back Ricardo Rodriguez has taken a huge hit after the Swiss
defender revealed he wants to stay with AC Milan, according to the Daily Cannon.
The left back has been a long term target for the Gunners from his days at Wolfsburg before he moved
to AC Milan, and the North London side seemed to have revived their interest recently as they prepare
for the start of the new Premier League season.

However, the player has insisted that he doesn’t want to leave AC Milan, as he is excited to be part of
their project under their new management. And the club on their part are not willing to sell the
defender who still has three years left on his deal.
Arsenal will now have to look for another left back or use Ainsley Maitland-Niles at left back in their
league opener against Manchester City.
