Chelsea have announced the signing of left wing back Emerson Palmeri from AS Roma on a four-and-a-
The 23-year-old has been the subject of negotiations for over a week, with the Blues reaching an
agreement with both player and club few days ago, they have now announced the completion of the
deal as Emerson Palmeri joined the club today.
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia was pleased to welcome his first signing since he took the post:

The player also revealed his delight at joining the club: “I came here because it’s a great team with a
great history. Today I am realising one of my dreams to pull on the shirt of such a great club.

over here but it is going to be even more beautiful to play it.”
He will wear the number 33 shirt and provide competition for Marcos Alonso. He is eligible to play for
Chelsea in the Champions league as he did not feature for Roma in Europe this season.
