Liverpool are reportedly set to make a bid of £15 Million for Galatasaray over a January move for former Manchester United target Fernando Muslera according to reports. Jürgen Klopp has previously stated that he is happy with Simon Mignolet.
Muslera has proven to be one of the best goalkeepers in Europe. The Uruguayan is young but highly experienced internationally. United made enquiries for Muslera in the summer when it looked certain that David Degea was going to join Real Madrid, but the deal fell through and the Spaniard signed a four year deal instead to remain at Old Trafford.
Muslera was among the Professional footballer Association player of the season in Turkey last season, sparking interest around Europe. Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet had not looked convincing so far this season and Bogdan who is the substitute goalkeeper is not an equal replacement to Mignolet.
Muslera is currently the first choice goalkeeper at Galatasaray and for his country Uruguay. He would provide stiff competition for the unconvincing Mignolet at Anfield. Jürgen Klopp indicated that he only needs two signing in the January transfer window and for the rest of his players to up their game; maybe one of that signing could possibly be Mignolet’s replacement at Anfield.
