Manchester United are short of attacking options this season after the sales of Robin Van Persie and Javier Hernandez at last summer transfer window, leaving the goal responsibilities to just Wayne Rooney and summer signing Anthony Martial, while youngster James Wilson was shipped out on loan to Championship outfit Brighton and Hoves Albion.
Reports emerging indicated that Stoke City’s Spanish attacker Bojan Krkic could be up for grabs as he currently has a release clause for as low as £10 Million. Bojan along with Marko Arnautovic and former Basel and Bayern Munich player Xherdan Shaqiri in a deadly trio upfront for the Potters.
The 25 year old forward has been in sparkling form during the past few weeks and was instrumental in Potters recent run of good results against top Premier League sides in Manchester City, Manchester United and Everton leading to three wins against these top sides for Stoke City.
Bojan, an academic graduate from Barcelona signed for Stoke City for just £1.5 Million on a four-year deal 18 months ago and has adjusted to life in England after an unsuccessful spell in Italy.
At £10 Million inserted to his contract, United could bid for Bojan to add more quality to the forward line that has struggled for better part of the season. He would certainly be a better bargain to Saido Mane who is valued at £30 Million as he also has skill, pace and goals to his game.
