BREAKING NEWS: Abramovich Prepare UNBELIEVABLE Bid To STEAL Man City’s MAIN Man!

Chelsea could move for Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini as long term successor to Jose Mourinho, according to the Metro.

The Blues sacked their former manager Jose Mourinho after a dismal start to the league season which saw them lost nine out of sixteen league games under the Portuguese.

The Blues have appointed former Netherlands coach Guus Hiddink on an interim basis since sacking Jose Mourinho and they are reportedly in search of a long term replacement for who will take over the reigns at Stamford bridge next season.

The Blues have been linked with the likes of Diego Simeone and Pep Guardiola but with the Duo set to snub them, they have now turned their attentions to other targets which includes current Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini, according to the Metro.

Pellegrini’s future has been subject of discussion since Pep Guardiola revealed he will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season. Guardiola has friends at Manchester City as a result he has been linked with a move to the Etihad.

According to Spanish publication Marca via the Metro, Chelsea will be looking to take advantage of the potential availability of Pellegrini and could swoop for the Chilean next summer.

Pellegrini is not held in high regards as Simeone and Guardiola but the Chilean could get the chance to make a name for himself at Stamford bridge next season.

Pellegrini has won the league cup and Premier league title with Manchester City since moving to England.
