Chelsea are still keen on Atletico Madrid forward Antoinne Greizmann and are set to table an offer for the 24 year old next summer, according to reports.
The midfielder was one of the Blues targets last summer but the Premier league champions couldn’t sign the 24 year old as both Atletico Madrid and the player were not interested in doing business with the Blues.
However, Buzzsport now reports Chelsea are set to return for the forward next summer as they try to rebuild their squad after a dismal start to the current campaign.
The report also claims the Blues will trigger the £46m release clause in the player’s contract in other to hasten up negotiations.
Greizmann has been in superb form for Atletico Madrid since moving to the Spanish Capital from Real Soceidad in 2014.
The Blues have also been linked with a move to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid and Paul Pogba from Juventus in the summer and the West London club are reportedly open to the sale of their superstar winger, Eden Hazard to help fund their summer spending spree.
Greizmann has scored 30 league goals in 52 La Liga appearances since moving to the Vincete Calderon.
