Chelsea’s Loic Remy is close to leaving Stamford bridge when the winter transfer window opens next month, according to reports.
The striker has been linked with a move out of Stamford bridge after finding it difficult to break into the Blues first team.
According to the Daily Mirror, Swansea City have made a bid to sign the striker on loan in January until the end of the season.
Swansea are currently struggling as they sit 18th on the premier league table and are currently in search of attacking reinforcement as they try to climb further up the table.
Swansea started the season in fine form as goals from Bafetimbi Gomis and Andre Ayew helped the Swans claimed 8 points from their first four games of the season. However, the Duo are struggling to replicate their early season form and the club is keen to bring in Loic Remy until the end of the season.
Remy is a proven premier league striker and he scored 7 goals for Chelsea last season despite not being a regular under Mourinho.
However, the striker has a fresh chance of establishing himself at Chelsea due to the arrival of Guus Hiddink and could be more involved in the first team should he impress the former Netherlands boss.
Remy has scored 3 goals in 13 appearances for Chelsea this season.
