Manchester United are reportedly ready to make a move for Tottenham shot stopper, Hugo Lloris in the summer despite offering Spanish International goalkeeper De Gea a new four year deal.
The French man has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer when it looks like the Red Devils would lose David De Gea to Spanish giants Real Madrid but the deal broke down on transfer deadline day, much to the delight of Manchester United; who later extended the Spaniards contract to a further four year deal with a £32 Million release clause allegedly inserted to his new deal.
Reports still indicates that Real Madrid would still bid for Degea in the summer as he has been identified as the club’s long term first choice at the Santiago Bernabue. Real Madrid would have to meet the buy- out clause on Degea’s contract before the player would switch allegiance to the 10 times European Champions.
United identifies the Spurs goalkeeper as the ideal replacement for the Degea if he eventually decided to join Real Madrid.
Lloris is vastly experienced and has been the first choice at Tottenham since he moved from French side Olympique Lyon on a four year deal for a transfer fee worth £8 Million in 2012, he would be a good replacement for Degea as he already have Premier League experience and he is a technically gifted goalkeeper with a proven record.
