Chelsea have included Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri to the list of permanent manager they wish to suceed Jose Mourinho next summer, according to Sport mole.
The Blues sacked Jose Mourinho last week after a dismal start to the current campaign which saw them lost nine of their first sixteen league games.
The Blues hierarchy were forced to part with the Portuguese who is regarded as ” the best manager” in the club’s history after seeing their side sit just one point above the relegation zone.
The Blues have been linked with Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone but Manchester City are reportedly favourites to land Guardiola and Simeone has insists he is happy at Atletico Madrid.
The Evening standard now claims Chelsea have turned their attention to Allegri and the former AC Milan boss has impressed the Blues hierarchy since taking over at Juventus.
Allegri is highly regarded in Italy, he has won the Serie A title with Juventus and AC Milan and also led the Turin club to the champions league final last season.
The Blues are also monitoring former Juventus manager Antonio Conte for the Stamford bridge job.
The Blues are currently being managed by former Netherlands coach Guus Hiddink on an interim deal.
