PROVEN EPL Star Man DESPERATE To JOIN Man United! – Twitter ALREADY Buzzing About DEAL!

Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has declared his interest in taking over at Manchester United, according to ESPN.

The reports claim the two-time Chelsea boss wants to be the manager of the Red Devils and his representatives have sounded out the Old Trafford club about the availability of their client.

The Portuguese was linked with a move to Old Trafford after Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 but the club’s hierarchy had doubts about his public image and ability to develop young players and instead went for David Moyes. Mourinho, who then just left his job at Real Madrid was livid for being overlooked for the Manchester United Job, as per the Mirror.

Mourinho could now be set for the Old Trafford Job after he was sacked at Chelsea on Thursday and with Louis Van Gaal struggling at United, it is no longer certain the Dutch man will see out his contract at Old Trafford.

However, Mourinho’s move to Old Trafford depends on how well Van Gaal can turn the situation at the club around.

Jose Mourinho won 8 trophies in his 2 spells at Chelsea and despite signing a new contract in August, he was relieved of his duties at the Stamford bridge club after a dismal start to the current campaign.

Mourinho left Chelsea 16th on the Premier league table with just a point ahead of the relegation zone.
