Chelsea are interested in signing Monaco playmaker Bernado Silva and could sign the midfielder who is worth €20m, according to Squawka.
The attacking midfielder is currently impressing in the French Ligue 1 with Monaco. The Portuguese international is drawing plenty of interest from European giants including Barcelona and Chelsea.
The Blues are currently having problems defending the premier league title they won last season and it was reported that Mourinho was interested in signing the Portuguese attacking midfielder after being fed up with Oscar.
However, Squawka via Ita Sport Press believes the Blues are willing to sign the attacking midfielder who the French club values at €20m.
However, if Oscar is to continue the form he showed against Sunderland on Saturday, the move for Silva might just be a forgotten issue for the Blues.
Silva is a product of the Benfica youth team, he made his debut for Benfica in 2013 before joining Monaco the next year. The playmaker has scored 11 league goals in 40 appearances for the French outfit.
