Swansea are interested in signing Chelsea striker on a loan deal, according to reports.
The striker has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after finding himself out of first team action under Jose Mourinho. Despite the Portuguese being sacked on Thursday, it seems Remy’s future at the club is close to its end.
The Blues are reportedly interested in signing a striker in January but will have to sell one of their current strikers in order to create space for the new striker in its squad.
HITC via Mirror reports that the French striker could be the one to make way at Stamford bridge as Swansea prepare to take the defender on loan in January.
The Mirror claims the Swans were interested in the striker last summer but they were turned down and are now set to offer a loan fee of £1million and cover the striker’s wages.
Crystal palace, Newcastle and St Etienne are reportedly interested in signing the striker and could join the race to sign the 27 year old.
Remy is a proven Premier league striker and has scored 28 goals in 80 league appearances for QPR, Newcastle United and Chelsea despite not being a starter for Chelsea since he joined the West London club.
