Manchester United have been dealt a major transfer blow as in-coming reports indicates that the Red Devil’s transfer target; Thomas Muller has reportedly signed a new long term deal with Bayern Munich, according to reports.
United have been heavily linked to signing Thomas Muller in the January transfer window or in the summer; with the player himself stating that he is being tempted by the huge pay that English clubs pay.
But just like Sergio Ramos did with United, Muller used United to get a bumper offer from Bayern Munich. It is now the new trend from players being linked to United, as they end up signing better contract once linked to United.
Manchester United needs to sign a proven goal scorer in the January transfer window to assist Anthony Martial and relieve Wayne Rooney of the goal scoring responsibilities. United have been linked to Lewandowski, Muller, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexander Pato etc. with none looking certain of joining the Red Devils in January or in the summer.
The Red Devils should take a cue from Leicester City, who signed Vardy for just £1 Million to make him one of the best strikers in the league this season instead of looking for big name players. Charley Austin of QPR is worth given a trial and he is worth within £10-£15 Million. And could be a bargain.
