Manchester United are interested in signing former Borussia Dortmund winger Robert Lewandowski, according to the Mirror.
The Old Trafford club has been linked with a number of marquee signings as the club aim to get back to being a force in Europe and England again.
The Red Devils have been linked to the likes of Luis Suarez, Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Muller but the Daily Mirror now claims Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has turned his attention to Robert Lewandowski.
The Mirror via German outlet Bild claims the Red Devils are willing to offer the striker a mammoth salary worth nearly £11million a year. The report also claims Bayern Munich will be reluctant to sell the 27 year old but Manchester United remains adamant and will try to lure the Polish international to England with a large pay check.
It is claimed that PSG and Real Madrid will be monitoring the striker’s situation and should he declare any interest to leave, they will rival Manchester United for his signature.
United are in search of a striker due to the poor form of Wayne Rooney, the club is reportedly interested in signing a world class striker and Lewandowski is top of their wish list.
