Chelsea are set to lose summer signing Pedro Rodriguez to Paris Saint Germain, according to reports.
The Spanish international joined Chelsea from Barcelona in August for a fee of £22 million but the 28 year old has failed to justify his price tag and is said to be unsettled at London.
The winger joined Chelsea due to his inability to get regular game time at the Camp Nou as a result of the superb form of Neymar, Suarez and Messi. However, a move to Chelsea hasn’t gone as planned as the winger is slightly behind Hazard, Oscar and Willian. His form at Chelsea hasn’t been any good since his debut against West Brom where he scored a goal and grabbed an assist.
And now, French outlet Buzzsport claims Pedro could be set for an early exit out of Stamford Bridge with PSG keen on signing the winger. It is believed that the French club sees Pedro as a direct replacement for Ezequiel Lavezzi who is set to move to the serie a next summer.
The report also claims the winger is interested in moving to France and the deal could go through in January with both team close to an agreement.
Pedro has played 12 league games for the Blues and has scored just one goal and two assists.
