Chelsea are set to miss out on the signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus according to reports.
The Blues were linked with the French midfielder in the summer with the Blues reportedly offering a large fee which Juventus turned down.
According to ESPN, Paris Saint Germain are preparing to offer Marco Verratti in a deal that will see Paul Pogba move to Paris next summer.
The move will come as a big blow for Chelsea as Juventus are apparently a fan of Verratti and tried to sign him before he moved to PSG.
The deal will be attractive to Juventus because they will be getting a quality midfielder in Verratti and a few millions also.
The French midfielder is in high demand with Premier league giants Manchester United, Manchester City are also interested in the midfielder.
Barcelona also followed the player last summer but the player and Juventus decided not to part ways last summer. However, his agent has ruled out a move away from Turin in January, when quizzed about Pogba’s future he said :
‘He has expressed his desire to end this season at Juventus. Plus, great players rarely switch clubs in the January window.
