Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign another striker in the January transfer window in the wake of a poor scoring form this season; and the Red Devils have now turned their attention to French youngster Odsonne Edouard.
The 17 year old is currently with French Giants Paris St. Germain and it is reported that United coach; Louis Van Gaal has sent scouts to watch Edouard feature for the French outfits in the UEFA Youth match that Paris St. Germain youths won 5-2 and the striker scored twice in the process.
United sold Robin Van Persie to Turkish side Fenerbahce and Javier Hernandez was sold to German side Bayer Leverkusen while James Wilson is out on loan with Brighton and Hove in the English Championship; leaving the out of form Wayne Rooney and French youngster Anthony Martial as the two recognised striker in the squad.
Rooney is out injured and also out of scoring form, leaving the burden of goal scoring to rest on the shoulder of Young Anthony Martial. Edouard was the top scorer in last summer European Under- 17 Championship and has already scored 3 goals and offered one assist in 6 UEFA youth matches this season.
