Manchester United are in dire need of a striker; United coach Louis Van Gaal sanctioned the sales of fellow Dutch man Robin Van Persie to Turkish side Fenerbahce and Mexican super star Javier Hernandez to German side Bayern Leverkusen in the summer.
With Wayne Rooney struggling for goal scoring form, United are now heavily reliant on young French striker; Anthony Martial for goal. The pressure is to tense that the striker is now feeling the weight as can be seen in his recent performance.
The Telegraph reported that United now see Everton’s Romelu Lukaku as the solution to their Striking crisis and are ready to bid for the Belgian in the January transfer window.
It will be almost impossible for the Toffees to allow the striker who according to whoscore.com have netted 11 times in 15 league appearances for Everton this season to leave Goodison Park in the January transfer window; maybe a deal could be reached in the summer.
If United can pull off this deal then it would be interesting to see Lukaku line up alongside Martial; a partnership that is sure to strike fear in the heart of any defence line facing the Red Devil.
It will automatically see United as a potential title challenging team once again.Follow Football News Arena on Facebook and Twitter for the latest transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from across the major Leagues in Europe and around the World.
