Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is preparing to overhaul his strikers and could let all three of them leave in January, according to the Metro.
The Blues are currently having a poor season after a dismal start to the current campaign and Mourinho is keen to improve his squad when the winter transfer window opens in January.
The Blues are currently struggling to score goals and Mourinho’s men have scored 17 goals in the league this term with his strikers scoring just four of the 17.
According to Buzzsport, Mourinho is seriously considering whether to offload his current attacking options and bring in new ones.
Earlier in the season, reports claim Chelsea are willing to offload Diego Costa in other to sign a big name striker like Gonzalo Higuain. Although Mourinho has since dismissed those reports and claimed he has no problem with Diego Costa, the Spaniard has however refused to close the exit door and has indicated that he would be open to a move back to La Liga with his former club.
Radamel Falcao has also been in dismal form for Chelsea with the colombian scoring just 1 goal in 9 appearances. The 29 year old has failed to live up to expectation since moving to Chelsea in the summer and Mourinho is reportedly ready to terminate the player’s loan deal in January.
Loic Remy however seems not to have the backing of Jose Mourinho as the French man has started just one league game this season. The former QPR striker has been linked with a move to Aston Villa and St Etienne.
