Liverpool vs West Brom: STARTING XI – Boss Uses VERY STRONG 4-5-1 Formation

Claudio Yacob is available again after serving a one-match ban and is expected to come straight back into the starting XI for the trip to Anfield.

Jonny Evans played just in front of the back four in the Argentine’s absence against Tottenham: he should return to his usual position at centre-back alongside Gareth McAuley.

That means Jonas Olsson is likely to miss out, with Craig Dawson and Chris Brunt filling the full-back spots. Tony Pulis could return to the 4-5-1 formation he has preferred on the road this season, with Yacob, Darren Fletcher and James Morrison filling the three central midfield positions.

James McClean looks a sure starter out wide, but with Stephane Sessegnon ruled out after being forced off with a hamstring injury last weekend, Craig Gardner could therefore earn a start on the right.

Callum McManaman and Saido Berahino offer more attacking options out wide.

Salomon Rondon should continue as the lone striker, with Rickie Lambert providing back-up.

Ben Foster remains out for the Baggies.
