Manchester United are determined to boost Louis Van Gaal’s attacking options in 2016. The Daily Star Sunday says United are planning a £50 Million summer swoop for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
United are also continuing to track Leicester’s Jamie Vardy and Southampton winger Saido Mane. The 23 year old Saint star was watched by chief scout Jim Lawlor at Manchester City last weekend. But the player at the top of United’s wish list, with manager Louis Van Gaal urging another spending spree to challenge for the Champions League next season is Kane.
Jamie Vardy has been a revelation in the Premier League, sending Leicester City to the top of the league table with his goals and also breaking former Manchester United striker’s record of scoring in 10 consecutive games by going one match better ironically against Manchester United. Vardy currently has 14 goals for the Foxes; while United’s prime target, Harry Kane is on 8 goals.
Saint winger; Saido Mane has continued his blistering form for Southampton this season after catching the attention of Manchester United with his fast attacking talent.
United are still keen on the Senegalese international and would love to add him to the United team, as his fast attacking brand of football is capable of lighting up the Old Trafford crowd.
