PSG defender Marquinhos is ready to slap in a transfer request. The Brazilian is fed up with his bit-part role this season and believes it is time to move on ahead of the January transfer. The Brazilian is now weighing up whether to force a move away in January.
The 21 years old Brazilian joined the French giants Paris St. Germain from Italian outfit AS Roma for £27 Million pounds on a 5 year deal in 2013 after just joining Roma from Brazilian club Corinthians a year earlier.
The French giant’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is reluctant to lose Marquinhos, but won’t hold the youngster against his will. Report states that Chelsea failed with a late bid for the defender as an alternative to Everton’s John Stones in August and are expected to try again. Manchester United are also keen on the defender having bid for the youngster last summer.
Marquinhos is finding it hard to start at the centre half for Paris St. Germain because of the ever presence of his fellow countrymen; Thiago Silva and David Luis. A move away from PSG would see him play regularly and thereby exhibiting the abundance of talent at his disposal. United would have to face a direct ballet with Premier League rivals Chelsea for Marquinhos service, both club are looking for reinforcement at the back, United need another defence to compliment Chris Smalling while Chelsea’s backline has been shipping in goals.Follow Football News Arena on Facebook and Twitter for the latest transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from across the major Leagues in Europe and around the World.
