Chelsea are interested in signing Atletico Madrid stiker Antoinne Greizmann, according to the Mirror.
The publication claim the Blues have made the French forward their number one target as Jose Mourinho aims to improve his front line in January. Mourinho is Frustrated with his front line failing to deliver and he is keen to bring in a striker when the winter transfer window opens in January.
Diego Costa who is currently the club’s first choice striker has just four goals to his name this season, the Spaniard scored 20 league goals for the Blues last term as they went on to lift the Premier league title and Capital One cup trophy but his form this term has been poor. Mourinho is reportedly unhappy with the Spaniard, the striker was caught in camera throwing a bib on his manager last week after he was dropped from the starting xi against Tottenham.
Radamel Falcao has also failed to impress since moving to Stamford Bridge on loan. The former Atletico Madrid striker has just one goal for the Blues and has failed to perform in the few opportunities he has been given. Loic Remy is yet to score a league goal for Chelsea this season.
Greizmann is currently Atletico Madrid’s highest goal scorer, the French man has scored 7 goals and has provided 2 assists for his teammates in 14 league games this season.
