Wolfsburg vs Man Utd: Match Preview + Surprise Changes Made To Starting XI

Manchester United travel to Germany to take on VFL Wolfsburg in a must win encounter for both clubs in their bid to qualify for the next round, unfortunately the game can only produce one winner and only one out of the two teams can make it through to the next round except if CSKA Moscow defeats PSV Eindhoven in Holland; which was a task none of the two teams were able to achieve, both united and Wolfsburg lost in Holland 2-1 and 2-0 respectively; making it a daunting task for the already eliminated CSKA Moscow team.

Wolfsburg currently top the group on nine points after doing the double over CSKA Moscow and recording a home win against PSV Eindhoven while United are second with eight points and PSV Eindhoven seat in 3rd position on the standing with seven point and CSKA Moscow with four points.

Manchester united didn’t travel with skipper Wayne Rooney and Morgan Schneiderlin, as both players stayed back in Manchester due to injuries. Paddy McNair and Ander Herrera are also missing from the squad while long term absentees in Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia will definitely miss out of the encounter and Marcos Rojo isn’t available yet due to his shoulder injury and Phil Jones is still out.
