Bayern Leverkusen have claimed they will look to sell their star players if the right offer comes in, giving Manchester United fresh hopes in their pursuit of Hakan Calhanoglu. United have been strongly linked with the Turkey international and they could be boosted by words from Leverkusen chief Michael Schade.
Schade said: ‘’if one day we can create a world star or first class player and one day he wants to play in one of the best clubs in the world, of course we would sell”
Calhanoglu is contracted with Bayern Leverkusen till 2019 but a fee of £28.9M would have the German club enter into negotiation with United even though the player’s contract does not have a release clause attached to it.
Hakan Calhanoglu has made a name for himself as a free kick specialist, the player admitted that turning down a move Spanish giants Barcelona or English premier league side Manchester United and he would consider an offer if any of the two clubs come bidding for him, but for now nothing of such has happened.
The Turkish international has lots of potential to be a world beater; a star for the foreseeable future and he would be a valid addition to the Red devils squad that currently looks out of source.
