Jose Mourinho has ruled out the exit of star striker Diego Costa.
The striker has been linked with a move out of Stamford Bridge with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid reportedly keen on the player.
However Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has claimed that he see no reason why the Spaniard’s future at Chelsea should be under debate, although he refused to give assurances to the striker regarding a starting xi spot.
He said: “I don’t know why. For me, no question marks. Always played, was on the bench one match, which I think is more than natural. No problems, no problems at all.
“I think he always tried to give his best, sometimes playing phenomenal, other times not so well, but he is a player that always tried.
“I didn’t ask him [about his reaction to being benched on Sunday], but he trained very well. That’s the only thing that matters to me. I cannot say better than ever, because normally he trains very well.”
Costa was dropped from the starting xi against Tottenham last weekend and the 27 year old was caught throwing his bib at his manager.
The Spanish striker has been in poor form this term, he has scored just four goals this season.Follow Football News Arena on Facebook and Twitter for the latest transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from across the major Leagues in Europe and around the World.
