Real Madrid may finally be giving up on Gareth Bale and could allow him to complete a transfer to Manchester United if a good enough bid comes in.
The Spanish giants have invested a lot in the Welshman, bringing him to the Santiago Bernabue as the most expensive player of all time back in 2013. However, Bale has struggled to settle in Madrid and remains unconvincing despite being moved to his preferred central role under new manager Rafael Benitez this season.
The 26 years old moved to Real Madrid in 2013 from Tottenham Hotspurs for £86 Million pounds and has made 102 appearances for the Galaticos; scoring 42 times in the process and winning the UEFA Champions League, Copa Del Rey, the Spanish Super Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
Real are reportedly willing to sell the unsettled Welsh man and certainly would be forced to consider offers for the 26 years old next summer, with United still strongly linked as potential suitors. Gareth Bale already have Premier League experience with Tottenham, winning the Professional Footballer’s Award (PFA) and Young Professional Footballer’s Award) during his stint with the London based club.Follow Football News Arena on Facebook and Twitter for the latest transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from across the major Leagues in Europe and around the World.
