Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to re-sign for Manchester United – despite Paris St. Germain preparing a mega offer, according to reports.
United have been linked with a deal for Ronaldo for the last month, and manager Louis Van Gaal confirmed his interest last weekend.
Paris St. Germain are desperate to land Ronaldo and are preparing to offer him £500,000-a-week but the Daily Mirror says the player wants United. The paper says Ronaldo loves United and the Premier League and is excited at the prospect of playing for the club again.
United chief Edward Woodward has a close relationship with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes and a deal could happen for about £80M. The current world footballer of the year was a cult hero at Old Trafford and his loved and adored by the United fans.
