Manchester United could resurrect transfer deal for Lucas Moura says reports in France. Lucas 23 was targeted by former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson when he was still 19, but Paris St. Germain stole in with a £31.6 Million bid that was roundly criticised by Sir Alex Ferguson.
French newspaper, L’Equipe report that the Brazilian came close to moving to Old Trafford and that he actually passed a medical with United before opting for Paris St Germain. It’s also claimed that a number of Premier League sides are monitoring Lucas’ situation at Paris St. Germain, and that United could return for the pacey wide man.
Reports stated that Lucas has developed into something of a super-sub in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer mould at Paris St. Germain – something that would go down well with the Old Trafford faithfuls.
At Manchester, Lucas would be a regular starter, as the Red Devils currently don’t possess a winger with the pace and qualities that the Brazilian is blessed with.
He is fast, strong, very direct in his attacking approach, creative and also has an eye for goals. He is suitable for the Premier League and could be one of the missing puzzle in United’s blunt attack
