DONE DEAL: Striker With 100% Goal Record BASICALLY CONFIRMS That He Will SEAL Chelsea Transfer

Shakhtar Donetsk star forward Alex Teixeira has confirmed that he has received a transfer proposal from Chelsea.

The Brazilian striker who has been in imperious form this season has averaged a goal per game in his 23 appearances in all competitions thus far this season.

The Blues who are slowly but gradually regaining their form of old after a miserable start to the season have won three on the trot since the last international break, however it is their defence who will take the most credit thanks to the fact that they are yet to concede a goal since the break, in contrast the goals haven’t come flowing as the side have netted just once in their last three league games.

The special one recognises the need for more firepower upfront and has acted accordingly by approaching the Shakhtar man. Teixeira confirmed this himself.

‘I’m glad to have received the proposal of Chelsea as they are a big club in Europe, but my manager will sort that’.

After which he indicated he would be more than willing to move to Stamford Bridge, he added:

” It’s my dream, I have spoken to many people who have the desire to play in the Premier League, because I think it’s the best World Championship, most competitive.

‘For January, I believe it is very difficult because it is in the middle of the championship. Shakhtar have said they will not release me in January, only at the end of the season. But I’m with a clear head.’

Teixeira finally confessed he desires to work with Chelsea’s tactician Jose Mourinho, and his wish to see the Portuguese retain his current position.

‘I hope he does not leave Chelsea now. I want to work with him and have great success at his side.’

Should the forward decide to sign for the champions, he will have little problem settling in as Brazilian quartet Oscar, Ramires, Kenedy and Willian will ease the bedding in period.
