Manchester United great, Ruud Van Nistelroy does not think Memphis Depay is ready to become a key player for the Red Devils.
Depay has endured a difficult start to life at Manchester United and his performance have been a bit of a disappointment for the Red Devils faithful as the winger had arrived at Old Trafford amid a lot of fanfare.
Former United striker Van Nistelroy thinks Depay will eventually be able to recover from his poor start but stated that the 21 years old is not quite prepared to make the telling difference for the Premier League giants as of yet.
Van Nistelroy said: ‘’To make a difference at United, it means being really brilliant and being decisive in big games. He is not yet ready for that quiet yet. He will rise again; he will become better and more influential. He is really eager to learn. When he is with the national team, I have worked very closely with him. As a coach, I always look to accentuate positives to make his strong points even better. He will get there, I’m sure.’’
Depay is a bundle of talent, a youngster with prospect that needs time to adapt to the English Premier League after making a higher move from the Dutch League to the English premier league. Manchester United will see the best of the Dutch star; it will just take a little time to get the best out of him. He needs to be psyched up mentally.Follow Football News Arena on Facebook and Twitter for the latest transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from across the major Leagues in Europe and around the World.
