Chelsea are considering whether to make a move for Bologna enforcer Amadou Diawara when the winter transfer window opens in January.
It was reported that the blues are keen to bring the midfielder to Stamford bridge. However, the Player’s agent has played down a switch to Chelsea in January.
His agent, Robert Visan did not deny that he is aware of the interest from Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Inter Milan but he claimed there have been no offers for his client.
Visan told FCInterNews.it: “To date no one has received any offer and we have not spoken with Inter officials.
“There has been no contact.
“He has to think about doing well with Bologna and keeping them up.”
Diawara is highly rated at Bologna and he is seen as one of the club’s brightest talent. He has featured in every league game for the Italian side this term.
The club values the midfielder at a price of £15million and would demand even more if the midfielder continues his superb performance.
Diawara left San Marino for Bologna in the summer and immediately made a name for himself in Europe.
Chelsea will continue monitoring the midfielder’s progress as they look to bring in a player to compete with Nemanja Matic.
