Chelsea are looking at the possibility of signing two top strikers, according to reports.
The Blues are interested in signing Olympic Lyonnaise stiker Alexandre Lacazette and Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerik Aubameyang.
The blues have struggled to replicate the form that saw them lift the premier league trophy last season and they currently sit 14th on the Premier league table after 14 games.
Mourinho is reportedly unhappy with the blues transfer activity in the summer as the club couldn’t sign the Portuguese top targets. The club could not sign Everton’s John Stones and also failed to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus. But the blues manager is prepared to spend big as he wants to overhaul his squad.
Top of the Portuguese wishlist is Lacazette and Aubameyang whom the blues will try to sign in January or next summer.
Lacazette was French ligue 1 top scorer last season, the striker scored 30 goals in 36 appearances for the French club and also won the French Player of the year award.
The blues are also preparing an ambitious swoop for BVB striker Aubameyang. The Gabonese is in fine form and is an important member of the BVB side. It is claimed that Chelsea will do whatever is needed to sign the striker. BVB values the striker so high and are not prepared to let him go for a fee less than €60million.
Chelsea would do well with either or both strikers as they look to replace Radamel Falcao and Diego Costa.
