Chelsea are preparing to table a bid for in form Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, according to reports.
The England international is currently the top scorer in England’s topflight football competition and have scored 13 goals in 11 consecutive league matches for Claudio Ranieri’s men.
Vardy is understood to be on Mourinho’s January transfer wishlist and the blues are considering luring the striker to West London after a series of superb performances for Leicester this season.
With the poor form of Diego Costa, the blues are looking to strengthen their forward line when the transfer window opens in January and the blues have earmarked Vardy as the man to provide competition for Diego Costa.
