Paris Saint Germain star Marquinhos is reportedly becoming frustrated with lack of playing time in Paris.
The young defender is currently struggling to get into PSG’s first team ahead of Brazilian duo Thiago Silva and David Luiz and the centre back is becoming tired of his current situation.
Marquinhos was a subject of a deadline day bid from Chelsea last summer but PSG refused to entertain any idea of selling the 21 year old. Manchester United were also linked with the defender last summer.
Barcelona and Chelsea are still monitoring the centre back’s position at PSG and the Premier league champions as well as the La liga champions will be boosted by recent reports coming out of France.
Le10sport claims that Marquinhos is already looking at the possibility of moving to another club in January and the Brazilian is considering whether to force a move away from the French ligue one champions.
PSG boss Laurent Blanc has however advised the defender to stay calm and his chances will come:
“Marquinhos is a young player, he has yet to make progress, he is not yet a starter for his national team. He has significant room for growth. If he continues like this with PSG, he will grow and become a starter for PSG and with Brazil,” said Blanc.
