Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has stated that he wants Radamel Falcao to remain at the club until the end of the season.
The striker joined Chelsea last summer in a season long loan deal but due to the striker’s inability to impress at Stamford bridge, reports claim he is looking for a way out of Stamford bridge when the transfer window opens in January.
However, Mourinho has revealed that he will be happy if the Columbian remain at Stamford bridge until the end of the season.
“I don’t know if it’s true because to me he says absolutely nothing in relation to that, and I speak with him every day.
“It’s strange that the press knows something I don’t know and my club doesn’t know. We don’t have any information about this.
“He has to give us more than Diego. We normally play with one striker and I go for the performance level.
“It’s a direct competition, two players for one position, and the best one plays.”
“We hope that things can change for the better, but I would be happy to go with this squad at least until June.”
Falcao has scored just one goal since joining the blues. The former Atletico Madrid striker spent last season on loan at Manchester United, but the Columbian also had a miserable campaign at Manchester.Follow Football News Arena on Facebook and Twitter for the latest transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from across the major Leagues in Europe and around the World.
