3 SURPRISE CHANGES Made! Chelsea STARTING XI vs Tottenham

John Terry picked up an ankle injury in the 4-0 win against Maccabi Tel-Aviv in midweek and is struggling to be in contention for the trip to White Hart Lane.

That leaves Kurt Zouma and Gary Cahill as the likely centre-back pairing for the Blues, with Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicueta lining up in the full-back positions. Azpilicueta would seem set to earn a recall with Kenedy dropping back to the bench following his start against Norwich. Baba Rahman provides another option at the back for Jose Mourinho.

Cesc Fabregas has started alongside Nemanja Matic in both matches over the past week, but the Spaniard could be pushed further forward if Mourinho opts for a more cautious approach. Ramires is also doubtful due to a muscle problem, with John Obi Mikel offering another option at the base of midfield.

Eden Hazard and Willian look certain to retain their starting berths in the attacking midfield positions, with Pedro, Fabregas and Oscar possibly competing for the third spot in the 4-2-3-1 setup.

Diego Costa should continue as the lone striker for the champions, with Loic Remy providing cover.

Thibaut Courtois and Radamel Falcao remain sidelined through injury.
