Chelsea are preparing to offer in form winger Willian a new deal, according to reports.
The London Evening standard reports that contract talks have already begun between the club and Willian’s camp and the blues are hopeful the new deal will be announced by the end of the year.
Willian is also happy to remain at Stamford Bridge and the Winger is eager to sign the new contract. Willian’s contract at Chelsea expires in 2018 and the Blues are keen to tie the winger down to a new long term contract.
The Blues are keen on agreeing an improved deal worth £100,000 a week with the Brazilian.
Chelsea are keen on extending the contracts of its best players and Willian’s new contract will see him extend his stay at the club to 2020; the blues have few players tied down on a long term contract with only Eden Hazard, Baba Rahman and Kennedy tied down at the club till 2020.
Willian has been the club’s best player this term despite the team’s poor start to the current campaign. The winger is the club’s highest goal scorer with six goals.
His superb performances have attracted Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain. Willian is keen to remain at Stamford bridge after declaring sometime ago that he would love to be a legend at the club like Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.
Willian joined Chelsea from Anzhi Machakalaka for a fee of £32million in 2013.
