Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale has refused to rule out a move to the Premier League, prompting reports that he could be set to join Manchester United next summer.
Bale has been linked with United in recent weeks. But he told the Mirror: ‘’my plan when I first started playing football was to try to reach the pinnacle- and Real Madrid is the pinnacle.
‘’I will never say never when it comes to going back to the Premier League, because you don’t know what the future holds.
Gareth bale was a player that Manchester United was interested in before he eventually moved to Spain. Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to sign Bale but the Welsh man preferred a move to the Santiago Bernabue.
Bale is the world most expensive player in history, eclipsing the amount Real Madrid paid to secure the services of United legend Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009 for a then record fee of £80 Million.
The Welshman has had a mixed time in the Santiago Bernabue, helping the Los Blancos to win the UEFA Champions League against City rivals Atletico Madrid 4-1, scoring in the process and also scoring a solo goal against Arch Rival Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final.
He had a tough second season at Real Madrid, where some sections of the fans were jeering him whenever he gets on the ball and there was a rumoured beef between Bale and world footballer of the year Cristiano Ronaldo.
English Premier League fans would love to have one of the best players in the world back in the league; especially the Red Devils fans that desperately needs a player to light up the Theatre of Dreams.
