Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho claims his club can still finish in the top four this season but the title is a job for Mission impossible actor Tom Cruise.
The blues sit 15th on the Premier league table after 13 games and Mourinho has rejected the talk of winning the title claiming it will be an Impossible mission that only Tom Cruise will be able to accomplish.
However the Portuguese talked up the Chances of his team qualifying for Europe next term and believes it is still feasible for his team to make the Top four although its going to be difficult.
“The pressure was there – I was feeling, the players were feeling too.
“We coped well with that and we got a result which obviously we needed very, very much.
“Fourth position for me is not an impossible mission. If you ask me the title I would say impossible mission.
“Maybe Tom Cruise can do it (but) it’s complicated because you have to recover points from four candidates.
“But to grab one of the (teams) that go up and will also have a little bit of a collapse… the fourth position is a difficult position but a possible target.”
The Blues are 12 points behind Arsenal who is currently sitting at fourth place on the log table after 13 games. In the last couple of seasons, the team that finished fourth ended the season with not less than 70 points which means the blues need 56 more points to get to that mark.
Mourinho will be hoping his side continues the good run of form after leading the blues to two consecutive victories against Norwich City and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The blues face high flying Tottenham in a London derby game on Sunday.
