The Agent of former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has squashed rumors linking his client to West London.
Hernandez is reportedly one of the strikers on Jose Mourinho’s wish list as the Portuguese wants to add more fire power to his squad in January.
However, Eduardo Hernandez who has been the player’s representative since his early days at Manchester United recently claimed he has not be contacted by the premier league champions.
Chelsea are said to be willing to bring Hernandez back to the premier league as they look for a player who can provide adequate competition and as well be a reliable cover for the club’s first choice striker Diego Costa.
But the striker agent as brushed off those rumors saying:
“I have no idea, it may be a version in the newspapers to offer something and distract the public,” said Hernandez.
However, ESPN reported earlier in the week that there was no contact between the struggling champions and Bayer leverkusen regarding a move for the striker.
With Radamel Falcao failing to establish himself at Stamford bridge, the club is in search for a striker to replace the Colombian but it appears the blues does not see Hernandez as the man they are looking for.
Hernandez already has six league goals for the Bundesliga outfit in 10 appearances and has been in superb form the German club.
