Chelsea are preparing a January Swoop for West Brom striker Saido Berahino, according to reports.
The blues are already preparing for the January transfer window and with a new striker reportedly top of Mourinho’s transfer list, the blues are currently monitoring a number of strikers which also includes Berahino.
The England international was in superb form last season and was linked with a move to Tottenham in the summer but the move fell through as West Brom were determined not to sell the striker for a penny less than its £25million valuation. However Chelsea are preparing a £20million bid for the 22 year old as they look to fix their faltering front line in January.
The 22 year old has about 18 months left in his contract at West Brom and will be interested in a move to West London should Chelsea lodge an official offer.
With Falcao set to leave Stamford bridge, the blues are working hard to get a striker that will have an immediate impact at the club, the blues have been linked with the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Alexandre Lacazette, Robin Van Persie and Javier Hernandez but Berahino advantage over these players would be his homegrown status.
