Louis Van Gaal and his men travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford in Saturdays’ Premier League lunch-time kickoff.
Anthony Martial has been ruled out of United’s trip to Watford after sustaining a foot injury during France’s midweek defeat against England.
Wayne Rooney is also sidelined due to illness, though young James Wilson has been passed fit – either he or Memphis Depay could lead the line, though Louis van Gaal has conceded the former cannot play 90 minutes due to “a lack of match rhythm”.
Ander Herrera is likely to be handed the role in “the hole”, whilst Jesse Lingard will be hoping to stay ahead of Depay for the spot on the Red Devils’ left flank.
Michael Carrick misses out with a foot injury, allowing Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin to partner up in the double-pivot.
At the back, Daley Blind could get the nod ahead of Phil Jones at centre-half alongside Chris Smalling, whilst Marcos Rojo should continue at left-back. Matteo Darmian – who was suspended last time out – will be hoping to reclaim the right-back berth ahead of Ashley Young, with Antonio Valencia ruled out for five months.
Marouane Fellaini is also unavailable. whilst Luke Shaw and Paddy McNair remained sidelined through injury.
