Manchester United want’s to meet the wage demand of Sofiane Feghouli to beat Chelsea to transfer. The Algerian is in the final year of his contract with Spanish outfit Valencia and has not agreed to a new deal.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with his services, but reports say the Red Devils are happy to meet his £2.5 Million-a-year wage demand to bring him to Old Trafford. The winger would be earning about £60, 000-a-week on that bargain. Both Premier league sides can meet Feghouli’s wage demands, but it all boils down to who needs the player’s service the most
Reports say that Louis Van Gaal has made an approach for the Algerian international and would be looking to capitalize on his stalled contract issues to lure the attacker to Old Trafford. Feghouli is a target for Serie A side Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur and could be free to sign a pre- contract with any club of his choice in the January transfer window.
At the end of this current season, Feghouli would be a free agent; with his high rising profile, Feghouli would be one of the most sorts after free agent in Europe. Van Gaal is desperate to add more quality and creativity and inject more pace to his wingers and Feghouli would fit seamlessly into the bill.
