The defender is yet to make his debut for the Chelsea first team, but his superb performances in the under 21 team last season attracted the attention of Jose Mourinho and the player was rewarded with a place in the blues pre season squad last summer.
The defender featured in 14 matches for the blues under 21 side in the 2013/2014 season despite still being a school boy and he is highly rated at Stamford bridge.
He was part of the blues youth team that lifted the Uefa youth league trophy and the FA youth trophy last season. The defender featured in all the young blues continental games and only missed one FA youth cup game last season.
The defender signed his first professional contract at the club in December 2014 and has since then become an important member of the blues under 19 and subsequently Under 21 side.
