Chelsea are among a number of clubs monitoring non-league starlet Sam Corne.
Sam Corne is a 19 year old central midfielder who plays for conference club Welling United. The 19 year old is now on the radar of the Premier league Champions after a series of superb performances for Welling United.
Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Corne recently and League One side Milwall are also interested in signing the midfielder in the next transfer window.
Corne is expected to leave Welling United in January and Millwall could promise the youngster first team opportunities in order to win his signature ahead of Chelsea as Corne cannot be guaranteed first team opportunities at Stamford bridge.
Corne is a former Cambridge United youngster, he signed a two new year deal with Welling in May and has impressed since joining the club, Corne recently captained Welling United and was named the club’s player of the month in October.
Corne also helped Welling United survive relegation from the top tier of the non- league football and was recently called up as part of the 22 man squad to represent England C.
Chelsea are known for scouting the best young talents all over the globe and bring them to London forming a formidable amount of players out on loan.
