Manchester United are looking to boost their attacking options by approaching Southampton for star player Saido Mane with the Daily Star reporting that United may be planning a double swoop on the Saints for Senegalese super star Saido Mane and Italian international Graziano Pelle.
Reports suggest that the Red devils Manager Louis Van Gaal will look at signing the Southampton duo when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year. The Dutch tactician wants to add pace and creativity to United’s squad, the Red devils failed with a late attempt to sign Mane last summer and would be hoping to increase their bid in an attempt to sign their prime target.
Saint Boss; Ronald Koeman would be hoping to keep hold of Mane till at least next summer when a suitable replacement could be acquired to fill the void that would be left when the player finally makes a move to the theatre of dreams.
Mane is a very mobile and versatile player that can operate on either the left or right wing of the forward line and also play behind the main striker. His versatility and mobility would be vital for the Red devils that seem to be always out of idea in the final third of the pitch.
