Former Chelsea fullback Felipe Luis says Mourinho damages his players and needs to be careful on how he manages them.
Chelsea started the season poorly and have lost seven league games in twelve league games played this season and the Portuguese boss have accused one or two of his players in his squad for being responsible of the blues crisis.
Felipe Luis have warned the Portuguese that his comments could be harming the confidence of his squad, the Brazilian told Yahoo sports:
“Sometimes he’s right and sometimes he’s not. Sometimes people think what he says is absurd and sometimes they agree with him. It’s the way he is and the way he works – I see it as normal,”
“Obviously when you don’t get the results you want, you look for reasons and solutions and people try to work out why it’s happened, but he’s still the same person.
“The whole world knows him already. He’s difficult to describe. It’s better for him to describe himself.
“He has his way of talking to the press, especially when the team loses, which can sometimes be damaging to certain players. Some players benefit from criticism but for others they don’t.”
Felipe Luis moved back to Atletico madrid last summer after spending one year at West London.
The Brazilian won the Barclays Premier League and Capital one cup with Chelsea.
