Manchester United has been continually linked to Bayern Munich superstar Thomas Muller.
The German international is contracted to the Bavarians till 2019 but the German champions are looking to extend that deal further with an improved pay rise.
Muller who currently earns €8.5M is being rumored to get €15M –a-year contract extension to fend off interest from Premier league side; Manchester United. This has not gone down well with former German international Jorg Heinrich. Heinrich feels paying the striker €15M will alienate their fans.
United’s coach, Louis Van Gaal is desperately in need of a fire power up front to solve the striking crisis at the club, Muller had been a prime target and United can equally match any offer that Bayern Munich is willing to pay Muller and even pay more.
Muller is a proven goal poacher in the German league and in Europe, but the English Premier league has its own challenges and he is untested in that aspect; trying to invest such amount would be a gamble not worth taking.
Harry Kane is a good prospect and cheaper to acquire from Spurs, Jamie Vardy is proving to be a big club player with his form so far this season for the Foxes and even Charlie Austin of Queens Park Rangers would be a bargain as they have all proven that they have what it takes to perform in the Premier league.
