Marouane Fellaini is reportedly seeking to get a new contract at Manchester United, Fellaini’s current contract is set to last till 2018 since joining United in 2013/14 from Everton on a 5 years deal
Manchester United officials are not looking to further extend the contract of Belgian Midfielder Marouane Fellaini which expires in 2018 has been used on numerous occasions but he has found himself being used as more of an impact player rather than a starter; against Club Brugge, the Belgian came in as a substitute and scored the winning goal late in the game to give the red devils a much needed advantage before the second leg.
Against Arsenal; United were blown aside within 20 minutes spell that resulted in Arsene Wenger’s men scoring 3 goals before half time. Fellaini was brought in and he dis-stabilized Arsenal’s midfield by taking charge of the runnings of the team.
Fellaini has played just six times this season in the League, accumulating just 197 minutes of football- with five of those appearances being from the bench.
The Belgian international would still have two years left in his contract at the end of the season, but he is keen to sort out his long term future before next year’s summer European Championships
